X(3), X(4), X(381) F1, F2 : foci of the Steiner in-ellipse, see also Table 48. Infinite points of the McCay cubic |
||
K358 is the unique equilateral circum-cubic passing through the four foci of the Steiner in-ellipse. It has three real asymptotes parallel to those of the McCay cubic and concurring at X = X(3545) (not on the curve) defined by OX = 5/9 OH. X is the harmonic conjugate of X(376) with respect to G and H. In other words, K358 is a circum-stelloid with radial center X. It meets the circumcircle at the same points as pK(X6, X381) where X(381) is the midpoint of GH. K358 is spK(X3, X2) as in CL055. |
